Rothy’s: Email Design

Rothy’s transforms sustainable materials into high-quality footwear and accessories. As a Graphic Designer, I owned the visual strategy for our email channel, focusing on creating a cohesive brand experience that kept customers coming back.


Problem: Email is a large sales driver and major touchpoint in the customer lifecycle, but Rothy’s previous did not have an established visual system that balanced on-brand storytelling with clear paths for the user to take action.

Solution: I treated email design as a system rather than just a series of layouts, with two focus areas:

  • Visual Systems: I built an email-specific style guide that standardized typography, spacing, and colors. This ensured that whether we were launching a new shoe or teasing a color drop, the experience felt unified and professional.

  • Driving Action: I designed every layout with a specific user intent in mind. By using a strong visual hierarchy and intentional CTA placement, I made it easier for customers to move from their inbox back to the site to shop.
