Common Sense Media

Common Sense Media is a non-profit organization with a mission of providing families and educators with information and educational resources to successfully navigate technology and media. As the Graphic/Visual Design Intern, I created digital and print assets that aligned with the brand’s visual standard, and that aided the goal of increasing media literacy across the nation. These assets ranged from educational resources for teachers to use in the classroom, to blog article illustrations published on the company site. Below are a few projects I developed for Common Sense Media.

Assorted Signage

(Left) Poster produced for a cyberbullying campaign targeting children in middle school.

(Center, Right) Held in New York City, Babypalooza is an event in which parents of young children come together for the parenting information and resources they need. I produced signage for the event, which Common Sense used to spread its mission and to offer support and partnership with influencers who have young children.

Blog Illustrations

Common Sense Media offers a wide array of informational parenting blog articles, with subjects ranging from how to ensure children maintain a balanced relationship with technology, to discussing various new apps or services that may be unknown to parents. Below are illustrations that I built to support two such articles.
